Lorraine (also spelled Loraine or Lorayne) is used as a feminine name, above all in the United States and Canada, after World War I, during which events brought Lorraine, France to the North American public imagination. Variations include: Lori, Lorri, Lorrie, Rainey.

lorraine is also a student in ITE simei...she is one pretty girl..cute..and etc.

"Laura", "Laurène" and "Lareine" (French, la reine or Queen) have distinct origins unconnected with "Lorraine".
