Plagues re-release

Plagues was re-released on October 28th, 2008. Bonus content includes new cover and booklet art and a DVD that features "Ultimatour"(Headline 2008 US Tour), Warped tour 2008, and the music videos for "Hey John, What's Your Name Again?" and "HTML Rulez d00d".

Song title origins

  • The song "Number Three Never Forget" is a reference to Dale Earnhardt.
  • The song "Nickels Is Money Too" is a reference to the Metalocalypse episode "Skwisklok" in which all the members gain an endorsement and Pickles' endorsement is nickels. He says in a commercial "Hey, nickels is money, too." It is as well reference to The Devil Wears Prada's first show in Canada in Toronto, Ontario, on July 18th, 2007 during the Sounds of the Underground tour. A group of four friends had been hanging out with bassist Andy Trick and keyboardist/synthist James Baney and they had asked to see Canadian money. Sadly, one of the four only had a nickel to show and apologized. In return, they said "That's okay, nickels is money, too."
  • The song title "Goats on a Boat" is a play on the Samuel L. Jackson thriller, Snakes on a Plane.
  • The song title "Reptar, King of the Ozone" is from an episode of the children's television program, Rugrats. This can be seen on some of the band's merchandise.
  • The song title "The Scorpion Deathlock" is from professional wrestler Sting's finishing move.
  • The songs "Modify the Pronunciation" and "Salvation" are from full-length debut album Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord and are included in Plagues in the South Korea editions of the album.
