With Roots Above And Branches Below is the third studio album by American metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada. The album currently will be released in Spring 2009[2].

Background

During the 2008 tour, The Devil Wears Prada began playing one of their new songs to live audiences, rumored to be titled "Phantom Power"[3]. On February 6th 2009, the band release a studio update video to the public, which revealed the title of the album, and additionally included a short clip of a currently untitled new song[4]. Vocalist Mike Hranica said, “We’re really excited for this album. It’s definitely going to be darker, heavier, and more epic. Expect a much heavier, more metal record[5].”
