About the song

Why Not is singer/actress Hilary Duff's single release from the The Lizzie McGuire Movie soundtrack. From the said album, this song is the main track. It was released internationally by Disney International on June 23, 2003. Along with the CD single, the remix and the video is included. A remix from her previous hit "I Can't Wait" is featured.

By the middle of 2003, "Why Not" was included in Hilary's first album Metamorphosis, but with a different version.
