Hilary Duff is the self-titled second album by American singer Hilary Duff, and was released in the United States on September 28, 2004 (see 2004 in music), the singer's seventeenth birthday. It was certified platinum by the RIAA a little more than a month after its release, on October 29, 2004.[1] The first single released from the album was "Fly", while "Someone's Watching Over Me" was the album's second single. "Someone's Watching Over Me" was released on February 22, 2005 in Australia (see 2005 in music), and the CD also featured the song "My Generation", which was included on the album's release in Japan.
