The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien is an upcoming American late-night talk show that will be hosted by Conan O'Brien, on NBC. It will make its debut on June 1, 2009, following Jay Leno's retirement as host of The Tonight Show. The nightly broadcast originates from Stage 1 at Universal Studios in Universal City, California.[1]

The show will broadcast in 1080i HDTV. The show will also be shot in 16:9 aspect ratio with a 4:3 center-cut for standard definition television sets.

O'Brien's incarnation of The Tonight Show will follow the same basic format as that of his predecessors: an opening monologue followed by comedy routines, interviews and performances. O'Brien announced on Inside the Actors Studio as well as on the February 18, 2009 episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien that The Max Weinberg 7 will continue to serve as house band on his new show.
