2009 African U-17 Championship

Template:Future sport The 2009 African Under-17 Championship is a football tournament for Under 17 players. It will be held in Algeria in 2009.
The competition will consist of three rounds of two legged matches. Some countries have a bye to the First Round. The winners of the Second Round matches qualify for the Finals in Algeria.
Preliminary Round
The first leg is played on either the 11th, 12th, 13th or 15th of August 2008. The second leg is held on either the 25th or 26th of August 2008. The winners advance to the First Round.

First Round
The First Round first leg matches are held on the 29th, 30th and 31st June and 6th and 14th of September 2008. The second legs are held on the 12th, 13th, 14th and 26th of September 2008. The winners qualify for the Second Round.
