Global Expeditions

Teen Mania Ministries' Global Expeditions is the largest short term sending agency of missionaries in the world. Each summer, thousands of youths from all across North America travel with Global Expeditions around the world to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Young people from all over North America who feel they have been called by God to travel as missionaries to other parts of the world can choose from a variety of trips and travel dates. Global Expeditions offers trips as short as two weeks and as long as two months.
Each trip that Global Expeditions facilitates can have as many as 100 missionaries though they sometimes have more but most often have less. Each trip is directed by two Project Directors, one male and one female. These Project Directors have extensive travel experience and are deemed by Teen Mania Ministries to be trustworthy and capable of leading such a large group. Ideally there will be two Team Leaders (TL), one male and one female, per 20 missionaries. These are coed teams that are split into even smaller groups, three to five missionaries, called MAGs (Missionary Advisory Group) that are overseen by one Missionary Advisor (MA), male or female.
