I am not sure why this article was nominated to be checked for neutrality. I feel that this article is simply informational and does not promote or advocate any particular point of view.

If this was for a commercial organisation, in the strict sense of the phrase, it would be considered advertising. If it is allowed an exemption, then the phrase "around the world to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ." is not neutral. To a non-christian such as myself, this line is both offensive and expresses a POV. There are other ways of stating this phrase without assuming that all readers are christians or that all readers wish to be evangelised. ➨ REDVERS 20:44, 9 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

possibly made into its own page?

[edit]

maybe this should be made into its own page instead of a redirect to teen mania

Before this should be made into its own page it needs to have the first criteria for notability fulfilled WP:N. In its current form it needs to be re-redirected back to Teen Mania. Idioma 21:37, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Teen Mania mission trip program (that they've named "Global Expeditions") receives mention, from time to time, in small newspapers in the U.S., usually in the form of a small piece along the lines of "local teen goes on mission trip." Some easily located examples: [1], [2]. Of course, the current article, like the Honor Academy and Teen Mania articles, is already little more than an insider's collection of organizational details and promotional snippets that should be replaced with something that sensibly and coherently explains what the organization does and why and how they do it. Some of that explaining has been attempted in the Battle Cry Campaign article, based on news coverage, telecasts and material related to that campaign, but I know of no significant similar body of published works specifically covering "Global Expeditions" that could support such an article at the moment. I have gone ahead and redirected with possibilities to Teen Mania. If the section on Global Expeditions grows too large in Teen Mania it can then be moved here, but as for now this article cannot stand on its own. Idioma 03:16, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
