Counter-Terrorism

I find it interesting that you have an interest in counter terrorism. Perhaps you can think of a way to to get loyalist militias to disarm? Or is it only republican armed groups that have to disband?

UDR

Thank you for the warning. I did edit a reference in afterwards. All the information is contained in the regimental history. Perhaps I will add page numbers.

Judging by the comments made on the discussion page by some, registering a user name is not an advisable thing to do. Nor does engaging in discussion seem wise. There appears to be a general downer on Wikipedia on anything positive about the British Security forces in Northern Ireland. I've no wish to become a target for anyone's political or sectarian rhetoric.

Basil Brooke

It is an absolute truth that Basil Brooke was anti-Catholic, and yet for your own political reasons you deleted the reference to his "not a Catholic about the place" speech, leaving in weasel words about how he was regarded as the last of the Unionist leaders who united the Unionist population.

Republic of Ireland flag in Northern Ireland article

Hello,

Please could you take a look at my edit here. I feel this is a reasonable compromise edit, but is being reverted without proper discussion here.
