Nenad Milijaš (Serbian Cyrillic: Ненад Милијаш; born April 30, 1983 in Belgrade, Serbia )is a Serbian football player currently playing for Red Star Belgrade. He is a defensive midfielder who can play anywhere in midfield and is renowned for his passing. He is also known for being prolific for his position.

During Dusan Bajević's reign as manager, Milijaš got very little playing time. He proved his quality after Boško Djurovski's arrival as new manager, spending a lot of time on the field and scoring a number of key goals.

Milijaš played for FK Zemun before he joined Red Star in January 2006 during 2005/06 winter break. [1]

FK Zemun

Milijas passed all youth selections of FK Zemun, before making it to the first team. Playing for Zemun, Milijas became the best player at the club and one of the most talented players in the league. He also played for Serbia U21 team which played in the semi-final of the European Championship in Portugal 2006.

Red Star Belgrade

Milijas joined Red Star in January 2006 during 2005/06 winter break and became a first team regular. He is an excellent free kick and penalty taker.

Currently he is a captain of Red Star Belgrade.

According to the press in Serbia, CSKA Moscow, A.S. Roma, Panathinaikos, Borussia Dortmund and AEK Athens have expressed serious interest in signing him.
