Les Henderson is a Canadian consumer fraud investigator and Webmaster of Crimes of Persuasion, a consumer-fraud awareness site.[1][2]

Henderson self-published two books, "Crimes Of Persuasion" and "Under Investigation". His first book "Crimes Of Persuasion" describes a large variety of 'schemes, scams and frauds'. Henderson's second book "Under Investigation" alleges former Florida Attorney General and current Florida State Governor Charlie Crist mis-handled an investigation into a model scouting agency run by Lou Pearlman, a charge Crist's office denies and no official investigation into Henderson's claims have ever taken place.[3][4]

Crimes of Persuasion

The Crimes of Persuasion website states as its mission: "To inform the public, along with law enforcement personnel, justice officials and victim support groups on the workings and scope of telemarketing and investment fraud so that efforts can effectively be taken to minimize the impact on its victims and ensure that adequate penalties are in place to deter the perpetrators."[1] The website describes the methods used by criminal perpetrators, like deception and deceptive persuasion. It has been included in a few news stories[5][6][7] and listed on several government agency Websites.[8][9][10][11][12]
