The article stated that the singer intended to take a job as a hitman upon arriving in Atlantic City. I think this is reading more into the lyrics than Springsteen wrote. The song is about organized crime in general, and the singer seems about to go into that line of work, but his actual role is unspecified. I changed "as a hitman" to "in organized crime" (which itself is a bit of a stretch); if anyone wishes to change it back, pls provide an appropriate source such as a direct quote from Springsteen.
Cold Case
Is the reference to Cold Case really relevant, or necessary? I'm sure the song has been used in plenty of TV shows and similar in its time. At the very least it seems to be in the wrong place.
