David Wisdom

David Wisdom is a former Canadian radio personality, who hosted the music programs Nightlines, RadioSonic, Radio-On, and Pearls of Wisdom on CBC Radio Two. He has been called "the Canadian equivalent of John Peel"[1].

David Wisdom's mother, Gay (Scrivener) Wisdom, was a well-known Canadian 1950s radio-play actress, repertory theatre actress in London and regional England during World War II. She was an International Examiner for Trinity College, London in her later career and in this role, did 7 'tours' of Australia in the 1980s. She held an Hon FTCL, FTCL, LTCL and adjudicated in British Columbia and Ontario during her long career as an educator.
