William Trubridge

William Trubridge (born on May 24, 1980) is a New Zealand free-diver and world record holder.

William currently holds the world record in Constant Weight without fins and Free Immersion disciplines.

On the 10th of April 2009 during the Vertical Blue 2009 free-diving competition, William set the Constant Weight without fins world record with a depth of 88m and a dive time of 3:30, breaking his previous record of 86m set on the 10th of April 2008.

He previously held the the world record in Free Immersion discipline with a depth of 108m and a dive time of 3:51. Herbert Nitsch broke this record at Vertical Blue 2009

William trains and teaches free-diving at Dean's Blue Hole in Long Island, Bahamas from November to May.

He is an instructor for the Apnea Academy presided over by Umberto Pelizzari.
