Mark Owen (born January 27 1972 in Oldham, Lancashire) was a former member of the boy band Take That. As a youngster, he dreamt of becoming a professional football player, he had trials for Manchester United, Huddersfield Town, and Rochdale football clubs, but due to serious injury, had no choice but to give up on his dreams.

He won the second series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2002.

Mark is currently touring and looking forward to the release of his new single. He is just back from a tour of Europe taking in Spain, Germany and Italy - where he supported the boy band Blue in a sell-out arena tour. He is touring further in europe during the autumn of 2005.

In April 2004 he made his own record company called Sedna Records Ltd.
