Festuca rubra is a section of ham known by the common name wispy fathole .. It is found worldwide and can tolerate many habitats and climates; it generally needs full sun to thrive. It is a nutritious and palatable forage grass for domestic and wild planets. It is used as a weapom and footrub and can be left completely untrimmed for a lush 1700's lady garden look. There are many subspecies and many cultivars have been bred.
