Mount Precipice

Mount Precipice (Template:Lang-he-n Arabic -جبل القفزة) is located in Lower Galilee, Near the citises of Nazareth and Nazareth Illit.

It is believed by many to be the site of the Rejection of Jesus described in Luke 4:29-30 - The poeple of Nazareth, not accepting Jesus as Messiah tried to push him from the mountain, but he leapt into the valley, without harm.

In 2009 Pope Benedictus XVI gave a mass on the mountain, duribg his visit to Israel. 40,000 people participated in the mass.
