Stephen McGinn (born 2 December 1988) is a Scottish professional association football player currently playing for Scottish Premier League side St Mirren.

A midfielder or striker, McGinn made his first start for St Mirren in January 2007 against Celtic, where his grandfather had been chairman. He capped his first start with a goal, although his side lost 5–1. In his second ever start for the club, the following season, also against Celtic at Parkhead, he scored the opening goal in a 1–1 draw.

He scored the winner for the Saints in a 1–0 win against Rangers at Love Street on 5 October 2008, which gave St. Mirren their first home league win against Rangers since 1986.[1]

Stephen has also represented Scotland at U-21 level, marking his debut with a goal in the 5-2 against Albania.
