Hot Sauce Committee is the title of the eighth studio album by the Beastie Boys, as cited by Adam "MCA" Yauch, planned for release in 2009.[1] It will be their first album with vocals since 2004's To the 5 Boroughs.
Background
No firm release date has been set for the record. Although some websites have reported a scheduled release of December 29, 2009, the group or label has not confirmed this. The group will tour the UK later this year in support of the new record.[1]
The working title was Tadlock's Glasses, which was a reference to the former bus driver (Tadlock), who used to drive for Elvis Presley's back-up singers. Elvis once gave him a pair of glasses which he was proud of.
