John B. Coghill, Jr. is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing the 11th District since 1998.[1] He is currently serving as Chair of the Rules Committee and is a member of the Health & Social Services Committee, Judiciary Committee, Labor & Commerce Committee, Legislative Council, and the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics Committee. He is also a member of the Governor, Health & Social Services, Legislature, and the Natural Resources Finance Subcommittee, for the 26th Legislature.[2] John Coghill served 5 years of service in the United States Air Force and reached Staff Sergeant.[3]


Personal life

Representative Coghill has a wife: Luann, three children: Shaun (John), Joshua & Jayme, and two grandchildren. John Coghill graduated from Nenana Public High School in 1968.[4]
