Languages

[edit]

My native language is English, and a speak a fair bit of Spanish, having taken it for the past seven years in school. I also dabble in Japanese, but I don't know very much of it (yet *wink*).

Participation in the BSA

[edit]

I've been involved with the Boy Scouts of America for most of my life, starting in 1993. After crossing over from my Cub Scout Pack to BSA Troop 92 I experienced much in the ways of leadership and outdoor skills. I've had the opportunity to camp in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Quebec, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. I became an Eagle Scout in 2002 after completing my Eagle Scout Project, which was to construct four bulletin boards, one at each of four selected parks/playgrounds in my hometown.

I am also a member of what is often called the BSA's National Honor Society, The Order of the Arrow, which I have been involved with since 2000. I became a Vigil Honor member in 2003, and have been performing on my lodge's ceremonies team in the position of Allowat Sakima for the past few years.

Most recently, I founded BSA Venture Crew 49, Mohegan Council, chartered at my college.
