Courtland McGowan Smith (born 21 August 1982) is an American financial analyst, currently living in San Francisco, California.
Biography
I was born in San Diego, California, and raised in Carpenteria. My birth father raised me on ancient history (particularly Imperial Roman) and culture; he imparted a tendency to be analytical, introspective and skeptical. My mother taught me to be compassionate and empathetic. My step-father taught me prudence and the value of independence, in thought and in action. The two closest people in the world to me are my two sisters. I strive to make the world a better place and I believe I have done so by being a good brother. I value passion, creativity, integrity and compassion. I seek those with similar values and work towards enhancing those characteristics in myself.
Politics and religion
I have the utmost admiration for anarchists and people whose religious beliefs value independence, charity, and acceptance.
