I've removed the sentence about the producers not being able to afford Monday Monday as a theme song because one of the producers wrote a letter to the Telegraph or Broadcast (I can't remember which) stating that it was never their intention to use it because it was "too obvious", and that the Telegraph misquoted Fay Ripley. We ought to give this the benefit of the doubt, since a small quote from an actor in a newspaper diary column isn't really a reliable enough source.
