Shali Gowaram → Shaligowraram — Per guidelines, the most common name should be used as this article's title. [sd] 19:25, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
A Google search for Shali Gowaram only results in Wikipedia and its mirrors. The naming issue applies to the title, because the lead can, of course, contain both:
Shaligowraram (also known as Shali Gowraram) is a mandal of the Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh.
I applied a search engine test for Shaligowraram versus Shali Gowraram:
Search engine | Shaligowraram | Shali Gowraram | Shaligowraram : Shali Gowraram ratio |
---|---|---|---|
Google search | 2,670 | 186 | 14.4 : 1 |
— News Archive Search | 1 | 2 | 1 : 2 |
— Book Search | 3 | 0 | ∞ : 1 |
— Scholar | 1 | 0 | ∞ : 1 |
Yahoo! Search | 50 | 63 | 1 : 1.3 |
Bing | 37 | 12 | 3.1 : 1 |
So, what do you think? Thanks, [sd] 19:25, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
