Chennur, Kadapa district is a village and a mandal in Kadapa district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. [1]
Geography
Chennur is located at 14°34′00″N 78°48′00″E / 14.5667°N 78.8000°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 115 meters (380 feet). It is located probably 15 km away from the District Head Quarters Kadapa, on the way to Maidukur on NH-9.It is located on the bank of river Penna.

Kailasagiri temple near balasingayapalli is also a famous temple near chennur.Kailasagiri is a village which is on the small mountain where Lord shiva is honoured.
Also tourist can enjoy by visting the Lord Shiva kemple which was located on the top of the hill which was located in Kondapeta Premises. While visitng this holy place Tourists can have spiritual joy and at the same time Trecking the hill station other enjoyment.
