Geography

Chennur is located at 14.5667°N 78.8000°E / 14.5667; 78.8000. It has an average elevation of 115 meters (380 feet). It is located probably 15 km away from the District Head Quarters Kadapa, on the way to Maidukur on NH-9.It is located on the bank of river Penna.
