Accreditation

Schools under the banner of Anthem Education Group are accredited by different accrediting commissions. All schools are accredited by at least one of the following organizations:

Individual schools may also have additional accreditations.[2]

On January 16, 2007, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) placed all schools in the High-Tech family on probation for reasons including faculty qualifications, general education requirements, and advertising issues. On October 12 of that year, after making follow-up visits, the ACCSCT removed the High-Tech Institute's authorization to confer Associate's level degrees. High-Tech Institute filed an appeal.[3][4] On May 13, 2008, the ACCSCT replied to the appeal filed by High-Tech Institute. The ruling stated that High-Tech Institute would no longer be allowed to enroll students into accredited degree programs, but that the schools would be allowed to "teach-out" those students. This leaves the school system with the option of granting diplomas without an attached associate's degree.[5]

On September 5, 2008, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology wrote in their letter to High-Tech Institute "... Upon review of the school's response to the October 12, 2007 Probation Order, The Commission determined that HTI has demonstrated sufficient improvement and compliance in the areas previously cited and voted to vacate the system-wide Probation Order." The letter further went on to state"...The Commission will begin accepting new applications for degree program or distance education approval from HTI-affiliated institutions effective January 1, 2009."
