Background

According to his biography Trent's fascination with entreprenuership started in middle school when he would take his lunch money, purchase ten packs of chewing gum and resell them in school for 100% profit. His first business venture came in 1985 when he wrote, published, marketed and sold a series of religious tracts on various Bible topics.

During High School, Wheeler was an average student who focused most of his time on Tennis, Wrestling, Drama and Chorus. He recieved an academic scholarship from the state of Michigan and attending Harding University from 1977 to 1982. While attending Harding Wheeler studied mass communications, religion and psychology.
