Umm,Latina/Latino is not a race. So the song may be about prejudice, but not race.

The definition of the social construct known as "race" is so variable (both sociopolitically and anthropologically speaking) that one could spend a lifetime debating the issue of "what constitutes race". The fact is, many (primarily "white") people in the United States tend to view any group of people whose culture and apperance differs from their own as a seperate "race". Regardless of the validity of the term "race" with regard to hispanics/latinos, those people whose treatment of or opinions about hispanics/latinos are based on a belief based on perceived "racial" differences, be they real or imagined, are legitmately considered "racists" by most reasonable people in mainstream society. -Grammaticus Repairo 16:16, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I remember reading in a previous version of the article that it means "be afraid". I wonder why that got removed. tinlv7 [Please copy a response here] 08:37, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
