Hubcaps.com
I don't work for the site, i'm barely a fan, i just thought that it would turn into a possibly high veiwed page. It certaily is not a spam, it's not trying to get you to go to the site or anything, it's like the wikipedian YouTube page, it has the same information, and isn't trying to encourage anyone to go there. Please re-think the deletion of Hubcaps.com.
-Thank you and sincerely, Crowz RSA

Youssef Chahine and Omar Sharif.
Hello, I really need help and I will really appreciate it if you can help me. The following two articles, Youssef Chahine and Omar Sharif had some information missing from them and I added the information regarding their countries of origin (Egyptian born but Lebanese Christians by origin) , I also used reliable sources. And I added a wikiproject tag on them as well. And there is a user on both of these articles who keeps undoing my changes. What can I do although I am using reliable sources? I am really feeling harassed! I would really appreciate your help thanks :):) Lebanese bebe (talk) 20:27, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

The users of this ip are on unblock-en-l asking for an unblock. Could you confirm that this ip remains an open proxy and needs to continue to be blocked. (I am supposed to know about this too, but could use some tips on how to answer this question). Fred Talk 13:04, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Whois shows this ip and all of 80.254.144.0/22 belongs to scansafe.com, which filters traffic through a cloud. So, it is always a portal, but is it an open one? Fred Talk 17:08, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

If you are using an open proxy or VPN service, you will need to disable it or turn it off in order to edit Wikipedia.
If you believe you are not using an anonymizing proxy, the most likely cause is that another customer using your IP address who was previously assigned this IP address was running an open proxy. You may appeal this block by adding the following text on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is _______. Place any further information here. ~~~~}}
. You must fill in the blank with your IP address for this block to be investigated. Your IP address can be determined here. Alternatively, if you wish to keep your IP address private you can use the Unblock Ticket Request System.
More rarely, your network equipment or that of your service provider may be misconfigured or compromised by malicious software (such as a virus). For more information, see the WikiProject on Open Proxies.
Administrators: The IP block exemption user right should only be applied to allow users to edit using an open or anonymizing proxies in exceptional circumstances, and they should usually be directed to the functionaries team via email. If you intend to give the IPBE user right, a CheckUser needs to take a look at the account. This can be requested most easily at SPI Quick Checkuser Requests. Unblocking an IP or IP range with this template is highly discouraged without at least contacting the blocking administrator.
66.210.188.136:80 ) What is the meaning of 66.210.188.136:80 with respect to the blocked address? Fred Talk 20:35, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
212.22.180.2
This is the IP address of a proxy operated by an ISP in Kenya. It is not (or should not be!) an open proxy. I access it from 212.22.182.82 (fixed IP, in fact a premises NAT box).
What is going on? It shouldn't have triggered anything (and hasn't previously over several years). Robert Ullmann (talk) 23:00, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
