The Hindenpeter is a comedic device used in the FOX television show Family Guy. It is a play on name of the famous Hindenburg airship. Peter Griffin is heard to yell "To the Hindenpeter!", after which he is depicted piloting a giant dirigible across his back yard.

The Hindenpeter crashes offscreen amid the screams of Peter and his neighbor Joe. In a humorous aside, Joe is heard to yell "How can you afford these things?!" (referring both to the Hindenpeter and the Petercopter.)
