XHITZ-FM (sometimes incorrectly identified as XHTZ, but known on air as Z90.3) is a commercial Dance music/Contemporary hit radio station in Tijuana, Baja California broadcasting on 90.3 MHz. Finest City Broadcasting holds a programming and local marketing agreement with the Mexican concession holder for XHITZ, XETRA-FM and XHRM-FM, and delivers programming from its San Diego studios across the U.S.-Mexico border via satellite. The majority of these stations broadcast high-powered directional signals towards the United States.

History

Z90 was once a popular album rock station in the 1970s and 1980s, before they went to a KQLZ-type "Pirate Radio" 'rock 40' format in 1989. On April 5, 1990 they switched formats to Rhythmic Top 40, with a Dance-leaning direction. However, by 1998, they began focusing more on a hip-hop product, the station has changed to a Dance music/contemporary hit radio format. the station is called Z90.3 as of today.
