Jake Williams

JX was a British dance project by DJ and remixer Jake Williams, who now records as Rex the Dog. JX found success in 1993 following a recording contract with Hooj Choons, a United Kingdom dance independent record label.

Chart success

JX was a successful project, selling in excess of 500,000 copies of popular and anthemic dance tracks.[citation needed] Chart entry tracks included "Son Of A Gun" (1994), which gave him his first Top 20 entry at #13 in the UK Singles Chart, "There's Nothing I Won't Do" (1996), which was his biggest hit, reaching #4 on the UK Singles Chart, "You Belong To Me" (1995) (#17) and most recently "Restless", which charted at #22 in 2004.[1]

Remixes

JX also provided remixes for 1990s tracks, including "Call It Love" (1994), "I Love Saturday" (1994) and "U Girls" (1994).
