Bryan Hassan Bergougnoux (born January 12, 1983 in Lyon) is a French footballer of Moroccan descent, currently playing for U.S. Lecce in Serie B. He is most known for his powerful shots and strength.

Club career

Bergougnoux began his career at hometown club Olympique Lyonnais where he was formed since a young age and his début for the club came in a 2–0 defeat to RC Lens on July 28, 2001. After appearing in thirty six games for Lyon and scoring four goals, he was sold to Toulouse in 2005 for 6.million, signing a 4 year deal. In 2009, after his contract expired, he signed for U.S. Lecce of Italy.

International Career

Bergougnoux was a member of the France U21 and played 21 times and scored 10 times. In 2003 Bryan Bergougnoux was called up for France against Norway, however he did not manage to receive his first cap.[1]

After 6 year without being called up for France, Bergougnoux was called up to play against Nigeria on June 2, 2009.[2]
