Lesnar vs. Fedor not a done deal

Lets not post internet rumors here on Wikipedia. Wait until an official announcement is made. As it stands, UFC 103 is way to close to setup a super-fight like Fedor's entrance into the UFC. If Fedor does sign, it will likely be pushed back (which is a shame, cause 103 needs a reason to be watched).Hellpimp (talk) 14:18, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rafael dos Anjos vs. Matt Wiman

Reliable source? Thoughts? Here: Rafael dos Anjos x Matt Wiman in UFC 103 --Drr-darkomen (talk) Nevermind... found a better source anyway. --Drr-darkomen (talk) 16:40, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Henderson vs Franklin possibly off the card

The UFC website no longer lists Dan Henderson vs Rich Franklin for UFC 103. Should it be removed from the article or should we wait for some other kind of confirmation? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryziun (talkcontribs) 21:31, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The website NEVER listed this bout on the fight card. It is based on this [1] news story on UFC.com which is still there. --Drr-darkomen (talk) 22:40, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dana White announced the Henderson-Franklin fight and then changed his mind because the public reaction wasn't favourable.

I don't see how the fact that this event takes place the same night as the Mayweather-Marquez fight is in anyway relevant to the article. Many UFC PPVs coincide with a major boxing PPVs, its just the way things are. That piece should be removed from the article unless someone can give a good reason for it being there. --89.234.93.213 (talk) 22:04, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a reason. It's interesting to see how the UFC plans its PPVs to hurt other fight promotions. They do it as often as possible. It should be listed on every fight PPV which other PPVs aired at the same time so it can be easily referenced.

  • In this case it was the opposite, however. UFC 103 was set for this date and then Mayweather rescheduled his fight for the same night when it was supposed to be in June or July originally. --Drr-darkomen (talk) 02:03, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
