KidzBop.com

KidzBop.com is a social networking site for children ages 8–12 [citation needed]. The site features content that kids upload along with games, polls, and contests. There are over 1.8 million videos that are streamed each month by kidzbop.com’s 530,000 registered users. The most popular user generated content includes kids singing “karaoke style” to their favorite songs by using a personalized karaoke video maker. Kids are able to make friends, provide feedback, and give “props” to each other about their creations. A popular upload is the “webshow” where users can create their own show on a topic of their choosing and get feedback from their friends. The most popular videos are featured on the websites homepage along with games, a “what’s hot” section and info about upcoming CD releases.

KidsBop.com also hosts the annual award winning “Be a KIDZ BOP Star” national talent search. In 2008 the four winners starred in a music video for “So What” and were each awarded a family vacation at Beaches resort in Turks and Caicos.
