Someone had noted, correctly, that most of the text used in this article came from Wilfred Thesiger's Arabian Sands, a book written about his exploration of the Empty quarter in the late 1940s. The text comes form his account of being detained in Saudi Arabia by Ikwhan for entering without the King Abdullah Ibn Saud's permission and winning release with the help of Abdullah Philby. However, the text misquoted Thesiger in one significant point (conformity with Islam). I corrected the misquote and added a citation to ThesigerGaintes (talk) 16:31, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
