Los trinitarios gang
Trinitario' is a violent New York-base'd multinational street gang composed of Hispanics.[1] Trinitario was founded in 1987 within the New York state prison system[2] by a man known as El Caballon, and since spilled into the streets, with chapters in all five boroughs of New York City. Reports of Trinitario activity have also been made in New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Alaska,[1] and even Spain. It is considered the fastest-growing gang in New York, recruiting members from high schools local to the gang's area of activity, with the highest numbers of reports coming from Chelsea, Gramercy Park, Harlem, the Morris Heights section of The Bronx and from Washington Heights[3]. Their slogan is "Dios, Patria, y Libertad".

History
the Trinitarios started in the late 1980s or the early 90s in sing sing prison new york by founder El Caballon as a result to defend the small Dominican population in jail from Puerto Rican and Black gangs such as the Latin Kings,Netas and the east cost bloods trinitarios was made up of smaller groups within the prison system such as Los Papi Chulos, Dominican Power and Dominican Posse, they came together as 1 nation calling themselves the trinitarios the trinity stood for the three groups that formed the gang and the three founding fathers of the dominican republic who help estabish the country and free them from the Haitian rule Juan Pablo Duarte, Ramón Matías Mella, and Francisco Del Rosario Sánchez were the founding fathers. Trinitarios are known for recuting youths within the new york school system mostly in high schools rearly middle schools becouse of wich trinitarios has grown to estamated 3000-4000 strong in new york city the founder El Cabalon has since left the united states and now lives in his homeland of the dominican republic.

the trinitarios are known to wear the color green preferably lime green they wear it clothing and bandannas when wearing a bandanna they fold it in a certain way so that it will reveal 7 tear drops on the front know as they 7 points they also wear blue red and white the colors found in the dominican flag they are also known to wear beads wich constist of colors like red white blue and lime green they are usaly hand made and cosists of 80 blue beads 80 red beads 6 white beads and 14 green beads. there known for yelling out Patria!!! meaning father land in spanish patria is the equilivent to the bloods yelling out Suuwooo patria is a unmistakable out call usaly said loud and long such as PAAATTRRRRRRRRRRIIAAA by trinitario members.

the main rivals today consits of mainly the Latin kings following the DDP's (dominicans dont play) however it was not always so the first rival of the trinitarios were in fact the DDP's
