What about Jungle?
Jungle is far enough removed from house to be considered having nothing to do with it. Jungle also has a broken beat. I'm going to call BS on ultra house. Please give an example.
What about hardfloor or (related) wildpitch?
Correction: It's not "bitchy house", the proper terms are "Bitch Tracks" or "Beats" and sometimes, although rarely, "Ballroom Beats". Ballroom Beats is another sub-genre of house. Some might even say that it continues the original tradition of house as music made by Gay DJs for a Gay audience. Its origins are rooted in the era before house went mainstream and, like everything else, was co-opted by the larger society. This has led to the persistent re-writing of the history of house to exclude its Gay origins. The fact is that Frankie Knuckles is Gay. The Warehouse was a Gay nightclub. The people he created his music for originally were Gay people. So was the guy who trained him and sent him to work in Chicago, Larry Levan of the "Legendary Paradise Garage".
Why hasen't anybody mentioned Pumpin House? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.3.189.235 (talk) 17:42, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Would love to see someone set the record "straight" for a change.
Euro-house? —Preceding unsigned comment added by X1987x (talk • contribs) 02:54, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Bitchy House:
Since I added it I changed it to Bitch Tracks. I think though Bitch Tracks was an East Coast term. On the west coast it was known more as Bitchy House. But I've heard enough people call it Bitch Tracks that I thought I should change it.
Hard house
I haven't changed it yet, but the description of hard house is incorrect; it claims that in the UK Hard house is just the old name for hard dance. However, hard house is just one type of hard dance. Hard dance is a much wider term, incorporating sub genres such as hard trance as well. Skip1337 (talk) 00:22, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
What, no Piano House? 81.23.54.142 (talk) 20:25, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Who made all these so called genres of house music?
They don't exist. The only house music is chicago, garage, and deep. please. 208.176.169.89 (talk) 14:48, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
