Premise

Bank of Hollywood is a reality television series on E! that is based on the U.K. series Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway It's hosted by comedian Bryan Callen.

Celebrity panlists give their own money away to American's for the holiday season. The proposals range from money raising for charity to a grad student who can't afford a ring to propose to his girlfriend Amounts start from 2,000 dollars.

American media personality, television producer and entrepreneur Ryan Secrest, the host of the Fox reality show American Idol , and of two other television programs: E! News on E!, and the annual Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve is the producer of the reality series.

Panelists of Bank of Hollywood are as followed Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton, author and entrepreneur Candy Spelling , Wilhelmina Models president Sean Patterson and French-American poker player Vanessa Rousso .

The series debuts at 10 p.m. on December 14, 2009

Production

The series is taped in Los Angeles , California . Production on the show started in October 2009, as stated by panelist member Melody Thornton on her Twitter account page. No other information has been given regarding the series. Eight episodes have been confirmed as planned on E!. Filming for this series was put on hold when L.A experienced as power outage briefly. This was stated through the Twitter account for Melody Thornton. However, shortly after production resumed.
