Sven Garrett (born June 2 1973) is an actor and model born in Hannover, Germany. He is best known for his role as a German Photographer in Nick Palumbo’s spine-chilling film “Murder-Set-Pieces”.
Biography
Personal life
Sven Garrett is born in a small town in Germany, with his birth name Sven Gadzimski[1]. He has no brothers and sisters. He has graduated with a degree in Culinary Studies and Hotel Management. He was also a pastry chef in Germany and in the United States. He is a huge fan of action films, particularly of Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo and Rocky. He attended in an acting school in US and also made some modeling. But, he “felt trapped, [and] not being able to express [himself] by just standing and taking pictures” so he focused on his acting ability.
While a student in filming, one of his films has received an award in Film Festivals.
Career
In the Miami Film Festival in 2003, he was chosen in lead roles in two feature films, “The Escape” and “Zombie Unit 713”. In Zombie Unit 713, he was featured in his first horror film as a zombie hunter. It was quickly followed by “Miami Tale” where he played the part of Bobby, which came out in 2003. He also was featured as himself in “Miami Chronicles”[2].
In addition, he worked in a film production company in Miami and South Beach Club, but he quitted. He got some exposure in various soaps such as, “Days of Our Lives” and “The Young and the Restless” He was bored with this type of films and decided to do few short films. He eventually met with Nick Palumbo at the audition of “Murder Set Pieces” in August 2003. On October 14, 2003, “Murder Set Pieces” started shooting[3].
