Al-Farabi's full name is محمد بن محمد بن طرخان بن أوزلغ الفارابي (Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Tarkhan bin Ozalagh al-Farabi)[1] and it is can be find out that his grand fathers had turkic[2] names: Tarkhan and Ozalagh, And 1200 years ago naming of nonturks whit turkic names have not been reported[3]. The medieval historian Ibn Khallekān, claimed that Farabi was born in the small village of Wasij near Farab,Turkistan (in what is Otrar, Kazakhstan) of Turkic parents, and in the following decades and centuries almost all of writers and researchers emphasized this fact. But in some references such as Ibn Abi Usaibia's book his persian[4]origin believed, and it is can be sayed that, this might come from a mistake or not knowing of Tarkhan and Ozalagh names origin belongig to turks and turkic culture.
