Hey man - thanks for the help with my edit today. I was adding to the page on the 1995 Rugby World Cup, and saw that Steyn came up as a red link, so I at least wanted to get some sort of placeholder language there. I appreciate the assistance.

Shhhh...

"pencil sharpener" is "Bleistiftspitzer", *or* "Anspitzer" ("Spitzer" for short), not "Bleistiftanspitzer" :-) See de:Bleistiftspitzer.
