Anna Phoebe is a British rock violinist. She was born in 1981 in Germany to a German mother and Greek/Irish father. Her family then moved to Britain.

At the age of 7, Anna chose to learn violin--being naturally musically inclined, she progressed rapidly. Her talent was recognized at an early age and was awarded a Music and Academic Scholarship by St. Leonard's School in Scotland.

Since moving to London, Anna has carved out a career as a professional violinist and has played extensively in Europe, the USA, Nepal and the Middle East. She has been hired as a session musician by high profile artists--including Nitin Sawhney, LeAnn Rimes and George Michael. She was also a member of the violin section who performed live at Sean Combs 35th birthday party in New York.

Anna has also appeared as a session musician on television shows including Top of the Pops, MTV, CD:UK, GMTV, This Morning, and the Michael Parkinson Show.

During the Christmas seasons of 2004 and 2005, Anna was employed as the string mistress and solo violinist for Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a New York-based progressive rock band.

Anna has also started composing and producing her solo rock violin project with a team based in New York, where she is currently co-writing tracks for a demo album. The album will draw inspiration from both rock music and Middle Eastern music.
