Champ Lui Pio

Arthur Bernard Dolino Lui Pio (born February 8, 1982 in Quezon City, Philippines) is a Filipino musician, songwriter, and vocalist for the band Hale.

Education

He studied elementary and highschool at Marymount university and took up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resources Management at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde.

Hale in 2004

He began his music career together with guitarist Roll Martinez, bassist Sheldon Gellada and the then drummer and percussionist Omnie Saroca on July 2004, signed up with EMI Philippines in November 2004, and released 4 studio albums.[1]

Family and Personal Life

Champ is the brother of Christian “Chino” Lui-Pio (born June 14, 1986) and married to famous personality, Bianca King-Pio, who is also featured in music video “Kahit Pa“, and winner of MYX VJ Search 2008. Champ is the son of Nonoy Tan, a respected musician in the Philippines who once led the band Wadab.
