2010 Liberty Bowl (January)
The 2010 Liberty Bowl will be the fifty first edition of the college football bowl game, and will be played at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee. The game is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM US EST on Saturday, January 2, 2010. The game will be telecast on ESPN and will match the Arkansas Razorbacks against East Carolina University, the Conference USA Champion.[1][2]
The game will mark Arkansas fourth appearance in the bowl. It will be their first appearance since 1987 and are currently winless in the bowl. East Carolina will also be making its fourth appearance in the game. The Pirates played in the 2009 game, a 25-19 loss to Kentucky. Arkansas enters the game with a 7-5 record. East Carolina enters the game with a 9-4 record. This is the first ever meeting between the two schools.
