Mobasseri is a surname originated from Azerbaijan region of Iran. The oldest known person from Mobasseri family with traceable documentation was "Ahmad", he used to be one of the known large land owners in Azerbaijan in the 19th and 20th century and was given the title of "Mobasser-Almolk" from Mozafferreddin Shah[1] king of Persia (Ghadjar Dynesty) in 19th century; Almolk literally means property or real estate. Ahmad Mobasser-Almolk was born in city of Tabriz[2] in 1857. He married three times: First time in 1878 with "Delshaad-Baanoo" in Tabriz, second time in 1891 with "Roghayyeh-Soltan" in the city of Maragheh in Azerbaijan, and the third time in 1901 with "Ezzaat-Saadaat" in Tabriz. Ahmad Mobasser-Almolk passed away in 1931 in Tabriz and is buried in the city of Najaf in current Iraq. Ahmad Mobasser-Almolk had 15 children who survived childhood; 12 sons and 3 daughters.
