ICONICS is an industrial automation software developer, founded in 1986 and located in Foxborough, MA.

A Microsoft Gold Certified Partner whose products include HMI/SCADA and Manufacturing Intelligence/Business Visualization suites, ICONICS was named a 2008 Microsoft Gold Certified Partner of the Year in the Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/Software Solutions category.

The company has offices throughout the United States, as well as in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Australia, China, France, Italy and Germany. ICONICS has a joint software development and sales office in the Czech Republic.

ICONICS industrial automation software solutions are tied closely to Microsoft operating systems. The company's first offerings were integrated with DOS, then evolved with the emergence of Microsoft Windows (including 3.1, NT, CE, 2000 and XP). ICONICS' current solutions integrate with, and are certified for, Microsoft's latest OSs, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008.

ICONICS worked with Microsoft early on during the development of Windows Vista to integrate 64-bit-optimized features into its latest 64-bit HMI/SCADA suite; a product option in addition to its existing 32-bit-based product. The company has recently added analytical capabilities to its manufacturing intelligence/business visualization suite, including specific components for alarm, productivity and energy management. ICONICS is also a charter member of the OPC Foundation, an organization responsible for maintaining the standards for automation connectivity.
