Left socks?

Concerning this edit: the question of whether there might be some people who are both male and female doesn't really seem relevant to the article's point, but if we get into that, might we not also wonder whether there's a difference between a left sock and a right sock? This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users.
