I would rmv some of the POV in describing the album... esp. the quotes from critical reviews. --Madchester 22:50, 2005 Jun 16 (UTC)

What does double relase mean? --Tombom23 13:32, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've altered the wording in the article to (hopefully) explain it better. This is just my interpretation of what the original poster was trying to say; it seems to make sense. --211.28.49.160 05:08, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Prepositions?

Can anyone explain why "Sing For Absolution" and "Time Is Running Out" is not "Sing for Absolution" and "Time is Running Out"? Is seems like thing like "is", "for", and "by" are always lower-case. Am I wrong or is it how they are supposed to be? —Jared Hunt August 18, 2006, 16:47 (UTC)

This seems like a good set of capitalization rules to me. However, the track listing on the back of the cd case shows every word capitalized. by the way, 'is' is a verb and should always be capitalized. 216.175.112.139 22:36, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My mistake about "is". Thanks. —Jared Hunt September 23, 2006, 11:12 (UTC)

Concept album?

Is "Absolution" a concept album? There are some reccuring themes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.140.22.64 (talkcontribs) 17:06, 18 April 2007

Chris

Did Chris provide backing vocals for the album? I've somehow never noticed that by listening to it. --Stefán Örvarr Sigmundsson (talk) 20:52, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, clearly on Blackout and Butterflies & Hurricanes and I'm quite sure he did it on Sing for Absolution too. Swedol (talk) 10:54, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Placement of Japanese-release bonus track “Fury”

Could someone please verify that the bonus track included on the Japanese release — Fury — does in fact come between the songs which, on the ordinary release, would be tracks 12 (Endlessly) and 13 (Thoughts of a Dying Atheist)? All the versions of Absolution that include Fury which I’ve seen on my P2P program have Fury listed as track 12, coming between The Small Print and Endlessly (track 12 ordinarily, but track 13 on the Japanese release). I’ve been unable to find an “official source” to confirm the track-list either way. Thanks in advance to whomever. Raifʻhār Doremítzwr (talk) 12:05, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nota also that MuseWiκi (under the section entitled “JP CD, JP promos”) lists Fury as coming between The Small Print and Endlessly, as per the track-lists I’ve seen, but contrary to this Wikipedia article’s track-list. Raifʻhār Doremítzwr (talk) 12:16, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heck, it’s been over a month without response — I’m changing the tracklist. Raifʻhār Doremítzwr (talk) 22:55, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

B sides

"The Groove" and "Fury" added to the section B-sides. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.56.105.71 (talk) 00:15, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

why have these been removed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.98.240.147 (talk) 03:46, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t think that details of Non-album b sides are unnecessary, they part of the album ‘project’. They used to be included in most articles but have now been removed.
